SCS.3 DaRouter Beta V1.0.24

Hi Guys,

The SCS.3 DaRouter 1.0.24 is almost complete and will be posted tomorrow 2/03/09. Its past 3AM in Germany so the developers should sleep! Although in less than 24 hours we will be posting 1.0.24. The main fixes are:

- New improvements in PC / Mac engine to support processing of multiple real time actions at once. Most of these improvements are directly related around the bugs / errors reported from the TPRO Alpha preset.
- New right click option to re-detect units without needing to restart DaRouter
- New right click status option to see the current utilization of the messaging queue in DaRouter. We have increased the queue as well, would be highly surprised if we ever see a "Error: Message queue full" dialog again!

When I try to load the new Darouter Application I get a message that says "This beta version has expired on 1970-02-14". Am I doing something wrong? is this something you can help me with?

Is this on OS X? Which version of OS X, and is that a PowerPC (PPC) or intel Mac?

Hello, Thanks for the reply...This was on a macbook pro (OS X 10.5.6) I'm pretty sure its an intel mac.

Date and time is set correctly in the OS?

1970 is the start of the "epoch" timing in UNIX based operating systems, so it could point to a clock issue. Maybe try changing time zones?

Thanks a lot for the info Ryan, I will check that out when I get home today. I'm pretty sure my macbook pro shows the right time, I live in Phoenix, Az where we never need to change our clocks and folks in other parts of the country do.

To the Mods, is there any advice you have for me if changing my timezone does not fix the issue? Something to download, delete or do on my end? I'm dying to try the traktor pro preset!!!

Try rolling back the clock first to see if that works... If not we will make a release version "1.0.24+" for you that will not have the beta time limitation.

We had this issue earlier on with some of the in-house beta, thought it was resolved but apparently not! Meanwhile we will put a bug in the issue tracker so future beta's will not have the issue.

The good news is that changing the date works, darouter does load , the bad news is that when the date is changed to 1970, the whole system runs much slower.
I will keep checking here for when you release a new version with no time limitation.
