BTW any useful information on how to edit the *.xml file to change the settings for Right Deck to be assigned to Aux Deck (3rd deck of SL3) is highly appreciated.
I downloaded Serato Scratch Live 2.00 today and I installed it on my MB Pro. I found out that SL 2.00 gives the user an opportunity to assign the midi channels directly to SL by clicking "MIDI"-button on the top of the page. I got the pitch bends working with my 2 SCS.3D controllers. This is how I did it :
(Warning : this is very much like so called "glue with bubblegum"-solution and is based on the fact that Serato's own midi assignments seems to override the DaRouter's assignments when you are operating them at the same time. This might cause some conflicts between those two during the operation. If you try this, you do it at your own risk!)
1. Back up all your files (especially your XMLs!!!)
2. Connect your equipment (SL interface and SCS.3D-controllers)
3. Open DaRouter
4. Open SL 2.00
5. Place both controllers into Vinyl 2 - mode by clicking "Vinyl"-button twice. Buttons should be pink now.
6. Click MIDI-button on the top of the main page of the SL.
7. Click on the pitch bend down-button (minus button) below the left pitch slider on the screen. Now it asks you to click the corresponding button on the controller. Press the button on the left controller that used to be the Fast Rewind. You will see on the screen that the software has now mapped the button.
8. Click on the pitch bend up-button (plus button) below the left pitch slider on the screen. Now it asks you to click the corresponding button on the controller. Press the button on the left controller that used to be the Fast Forward. You will see on the screen that the software has now mapped the button too.
9. Repeat steps 7-8 for the right hand deck and the right hand controller.
10. Click MIDI button one more time to get out of the midi assignment mode.
11. Start playing!
Now the buttons should act as pitch bends by overriding the DaRouters FFW/FRW-commands.
If something goes wrong you can always restore your original midi-configuration from your backup XML (that you created in the step 1) by loading it from the SL setup.
And please remember that this only a temporary first aid to the problem that has been annoying us. I'm still waiting for a permanent solution by Stanton / Serato.
